theres a difference between talking over a beat and rapping over it. he has too many words in his bars because he doesnt know how to write, so he ends up stumbling over his own words. its a chore to listen to. i hate this dude
beat is the usual tuned-kick/clap mediocrity with minimal synths. 5 minutes in fruityloops, and that includes picking the samples.
he could definitely improve as an artist but i get the impression he just wants to get rich. even the engineer said "fukk it"
if he wasnt on kendricks record i dont think anybody would care about this guy. just my 2c

It's obvious as hell Kendrick wrote his whole verse on hey now. On every other song he sounds like a crackhead.
Kendrick writes most of his features verses anyway (even choruses, outros, etc), even wrote George Clinton's part on Wesleys Theory.
Kendrick only takes these artists because of their voice or flow, because it matches his idea of what the song is supposed to sound like.
It's always funny seeing people panick when Kendrick announces a new album, featuring washed up artists (U2 for example), only for them to have their best verse/feature in like 10 years.
