Does an artificially sharp lineup/edge-up correlate with non-intellectualism?

I rarely encounter an intellectual or a highly creative type with a razor sharp line up and I can't even name a black public intellectual that's on that Steve harvey.


now I'm not saying a brother can't be in n out the barbershop on a weekly basis and be really smart, just generalizing on the extreme end; I feel like this topic has not been discussed before and it might be a game changer in how we see/treat ourselves.

Maybe on of the effects of mental prowess is less concern for vanity

The correlation might be that bookish people spend less time on their hair line, but there are black lawyers, scientists, bankers, etc whose job necessitates a sharp lineup. Those people are generally intelligent too (not intellectual per se but technically intelligent). Generally I find well-spoken and big-headed people to be smart.

Depends what kind of lawyer. The Civil Rights real creative types with dynamic intelligence tend to be rough at the edges too. Untrimmed beards and hairlines.

Think it has to do with having an internal locus of identity versus an external one. They place more weight on their ideas than how people view them. In a sense, they are apolitical

Ive heard this but I dont buy it.

Being that the hair being razed by the clippers is hair that you wanted to eliminate anyway to sharpen the hairline.
The hair you actually wanted there never gets touched
