like every morning whether electric or razor, do you shave everyday ?

whats your pre and after care, i want to just keep a mustache for a while but i always let it grow back to a full beard then shave it off till just a mustache.

i want to be shaving every day or every other day because i don't want to rock the shadow beard or full grown but i have only seen service men and white dudes do that daily.

will it mess up my face, i don't have a discoloring where i shave I'm pretty much clean and smooth like my forehead all around that's why i like rocking the mustache but that last for less than 2 weeks, i shave maybe every month.

any advice or experience in shaving everyday ?

says on the blackGQs

Black men who suffer from extreme skin irritation should consider shaving less frequently. - Every other day would be better than daily shaving. This will dramatically reduce the development of ingrown hairs and shaving bumps. You won't have baby soft skin on the off days, but your skin will look and feel much better.

Does shaving everyday prevent ingrown hairs?
Shaving in the hair's direction reduces both the likelihood of razor burn and ingrown hairs. Avoid pulling the skin taut and don't go over the same area more than a twice.

what the hell does shaving towards the growth mean ? all barbers shave it any direction, thats why i do my own joints but i dont know which way the hair grows.

going to shave later, do some of that aztec shyt and perhaps post a pic in this thread.

Should a man shave everyday?
Besides looking good with a bit of stubble, shaving every other day allows your facial skin heal from the brunt of shaving, especially if you have a very sensitive skin. If your facial hair doesn't grow relatively fast you can also shave every other day or even every three days.

only if you want a neck that looks like a Nestle crunch bar.

If you have the genetics, grow a beard.

If you have wack beard genetics shave with Andis liners or something similar at least every other day. Liners cut your hair just close enough that makes it hard to grow back into the skin, but you have to keep up with it and be consistent.

Razors are NOT for us.

i first caught a nick when i used a razor no soap no nothing just took some stubble off at like 16/17 so i know razors aren't the one.

i read a lot of Afro-carribean mags. brothers used to have this problem in the service because you must be clean shaven everyday in the military.

i definitely wont be using razors, but i might shaving weekly so i don't rock a beard right now.

i got 2 electric shavers, but not andis liners. i will do my googles now :salute:

sometimes a full beard on a brother causes him negative attention and blocked opportunities, harsh realities.

Man shut the fukk up. I use razors.

But to answer op’s question
I use Harry’s razors and shaving creme. A little alcohol dabbing then I’ll throw some after shave on it. My skin is as smooth as almond milk
