I always thought it was funny seeing the random 50gb DL, then the rest of the blu ray rips are 2-8gb in size
I'm curious does ANYONE do this
I assume since the PS3 had to deal with cinivia, that BDrips are not as popular because of that?

IDK, if so. Is there a noticeable difference???

I would just try to download the ripped movie none of the extras or menu shyts.... A Blu-Ray movie should be 1.5-2Gb tops.

I have, and it's not worth the time/space.
Hey bruh, I've seen the light. I used to be into regular DVD's or 2gb BDrips
Now, I'm downloading the entire 30+gb per movie.

Nah, I'm bullshyttin. Just the 8gb dl's for me. I once did a 25gb then I downloaded a 8gb to see the difference
Didn't see any :manny:

Are you saying natively its 2gb tops, or a rip you can live with is that size.. tops?

The Blu-Ray Rips I get are between 7 to 14GBs

Anything over that I don't bother
That's what I concluded. But why do you not bother with the bigger rips which are easy to find?
Cuz its good enough for you, you don't see a difference? What
I know this is your ballpark, so i respect your opinion on this

Nah, the TV shows I grab are usually around that size, which all drop in 720p.

Only movies I get are in 1080p and at least 4 times the size of 2GBs

I'm saying the barebones movies when i had them always seem to reach around 2gb's for me maybe. I also had a 500GB external HDD for all my movies too. So i wouldnt have to store them on my PC. Although I was ripping regular dvd's at the time I didnt have a blu-ray burner it was way expensive back then.

You get the uncompressed sound like DTS Master Audio with the bigger rips which is worth it if you have a good sound system. The base DTS on the 8-10gb 1080 rips is really good even with a basic 5.1 system though. If its a movie i only wanna watch once or something the 720p 4-6gb rips are great too.

Mainly because it's not that serious

:heh:

I mean, from what I've seen, the rips that are in the range that I said are crisp for the pic quality. The audio isn't the same as it is on a disc, but I don't feel like waiting the extra time nor using up the additional storage to download a movie that's 25-50GBs when I'm just going to watch the shyt once and be done with it. If I really want the absolute best quality for a movie, I'll just buy it on Blu-Ray, I did that with the Life of Pi, which I saw first on a rip but then went and copped the disc cause I knew the rip didn't do it justice.
