Does anyone else find Enter The 36 Chambers unappealing?

Just the way it sounds... I respect and admire the lyricism, but the production and quality just isn't appealing.

Maybe it was a victim of the time period, but illmatic came out a year later and it sounds so much better sonically. This isn't a thread meant to hate on 90's hip-hop, because I love 90's rap.

The chops rza did were so minute. Dude was abusing those samples.

Most priducers were jacking entire sections the. Rza was taking bits n pieces to make songs like protect ya neck
