Actually treat patrons with the utmost respect and professionalism? Not trying to sound like a c00n but I've had many experiences where bruthas and sistas working in retail or food service will be extra rude or standoffish to black customers while kissing the ass of white ones. Instantly ruins my day because I hate to see my people behave like that to one another. But I was in Atlanta this weekend and the black folks out here are just extra nice and friendly. Every restaurant or store the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. It feels good when I can establish connections with (black) strangers
