Does anyone else think that a Second Civil War is actually possible?

It seems unthinkable now but then again no one ever thought that racist ass Donald Trump would actually win against Hilary or that his crazy ass followers could storm the US Capitol with little to no repercussions.

If it were to happen I definitely think it would political groups against each other rather than North or South. What do you all think?

There’s a podcast called it could happen here that explains what a second civil war would like here in America. Basically a civil war in America would more like a Syria and Iraq. Different factions and insurgents and rebels vying for power and different countries around the world backing the various groups. China,Russia,France,Uk all backing different rebel groups.

The caveat to that are private police and police unions.

Let’s say for example if the Pentagon viewed it financially beneficial to start a civil war. They could easily do so and start one if they desired.

Look at what happened in the insurrection. Those who had the power to stop and disperse were given orders not to move.

The powers that he could intentionally prevent the military from doing anything, while utilizing private police in place of the military.

It’s like they’re playing chess on both sides.

And if your main point was touching more on a civil war within the military, that could also happen and can be manufactured. White supremest groups are allowed to operate, off the record, in every branch. I assume as a card for some hypothetical situation “civil war” that has already been drawn up in a few wargames.

But I doubt it would ever happen simply because there’s no incentive to. Most people in the armed forces don’t even give a shyt and are there out necessity.

If they would have taken over the capital on Jan 6 . I believe a lot of people would have went along with the lie . even now with all the evidence there's politicians going along with it.

So a civil war I do see why they would do the right thing .

And to answer OP’s question. I believe it could happen but it wouldn’t look like the typical civil war.

Moreso of a Cold War like the one CACS have been on since my people were freed. Things like taking over local politics, forming super PACS, etc.

Tbh there’s really no incentive for a Civil War in 2021. The powers that be are centralized. The Military-Industrial complex is more profitable than it has ever been.

I’m sure the Capitol Insurrection was moreso of a test. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I’m sure everything down to the anti-vax protests sponsored by police and sheriffs were tests.

Those gun toting CACS at the Michigan Capitol were tests too. Mainly to gauge how people would react towards an authoritarian style of governance. And also utilize frustrated CACS against the poor and non-whites who would dare to mobilize and challenge the system.
