With what company and do you mind how much you have insured yourself for?

State Farm. 50K.

It's bare minimum as I typically have life insurance through a job, too. Honestly I only bought it to help a friend reach holiday quota back when he worked for them.

It's only me to worry about, so the payout should be enough to pay off my debts and whatever funeral costs. I'll probably up it in the future so my nephew can have something and make sure all my shyt's covered.

Cover my funeral cost and take care my nephew and baby sister.

My profession is underwriting life insurance (I put the price on your life). I’ve got $500k term through work, &150k whole life since age 23 ($75/month)125k universal life since age 26 ($60/month but I can pay anywhere from $25-200 month of I’d like) and another $150k whole life I took out 2 years ago at 39 ($110/month). I recommend getting a whole life policy to supplement any term coverage you have because once you reach 55, the price of term coverage increases dramatically.
