What kind do you have, assuming you are happy with it.

I am planning on ordering a
Wacom Intuos
th

(I have never used one of these before, btw... but I'm a computer programmer and competent artist so I hope it won't be jarring to get used to.)
Stumbling across this thread kind of randomly lol, but I use a Bamboo tablet and it's absolutely fine for me, and I think I produce some pretty good work with it too. Even if I had the money I'd feel like upgrading would be a waste. Drawing while looking at your screen and not at what you're drawing on can be kind of jarring at first, but it's like second nature to me now.

I went from an Intuous Touch to an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil.

Lord have mercy I'm in heaven.

Procreate my favorite art app.

Drawing with the Apple Pencil is the mothafukking shyt.

The 12.9" iPad Pro is the perfect size for drawing and is more lightweight and convenient than even those expensive and heavy Cintiq tablets.

Plus you can use the ipad pro as a drawing tablet for photoshop on your pc or mac using the $20 astropad app.

And you can use the ipad as a second touchscreen or alternate touchscreen display for pc and mac using the $10 duet app.

manga studio is fire.. i been converting people. shyt has way better line quality than photoshop and hella built in tools.
Breh, tell em :myman:

I've been going hard on this software aka clip art, completely got rid of photoshop... the brush options in MS are goat.

I can see why beginners don't get it tho, you kind of have to work your way up to using something that god body in order to appreciate it. I tried a bunch of different programs and this is the only one I can consistently keep my work flow on
