Doordash some hoes, yes its convenient when u don't have a car but a $8 combo will end up costin u $20. Then they keep going up on the delivery fee. The gps map they use is trash cuz it places my address 10 miles from where it actually is n no matter how many times they have trouble finding me doordash doesnt fix the problem n they stopped giving.me double credits. I wanted my sweet n spicy on Texas toast from whataburger so bad i got drunk n walked the mile n a half at 1am fucc doordash then walked the mile n an ahalf back but i gotta xtra sweet n spicy to wake up on...
I use those sites to browse menu's around my area but never use them to order. Read too many horror stories about the delivery taking hours, cold food, missing part of the order, etc.
I use uber eats. Ordered some five guys earlier at work. It's convenient even tho it could get pricy. But when kfc/taco bell the only real close option, it comes thru in the clutch. I look for the free delivery deals and use those. Even if it's just a dollar it helps.
i use it alot when i'm touring abroad. in australia, there seemed like there was a big push for advertising for UberEats, plus they'd always be trying to hit me with a deal because i'd be making 60$+ orders when i'd use it
Yes, if I have a promo for 50% off or more, normally the price will come out the same or slightly less than me going to pick it up. But that's the only time I use them delivery services.
