The only time I can remember being undefeated in wrestling meaning anything significant in my life was Andre The Giant, Goldberg, Samoa Joe's debut in TNA and Kurt Angle's debut in WWF. Now does that mean anything anymore.... other than Undertaker's Wrestlemania Streak? When TNA tried that shyt with Crimson I was :stopitslime:the entire time.

Yes, but only if you have a legit (in pro wrestling terms, i.e. clean, no fukkery) undefeated streak going with real upper midcarders and true main eventers under your belt.

It also takes a good amount of patience as well. I didn't find the Ryback streak interesting because you knew it was all about the streak from the very beginning. They were having matches just so you could :wow: at him putting two jobbers on his shoulders. Everything about his streak screamed desperation and "too soon".

Ill say it like this. For a streak to seem impressive, you have to have the jobber get in a good amount of offense. Having him beat cupcakes most of the time will not work, just because it's stupid.

yea, depends on the competition

28 matches in and the best this guy has beat is Jinder Mahal. Goldberg was squashing legitimate guys. 28 matches in he already had wins against Barbarian, Meng, Mongo, Wrath, Stevie Ray, Steven Reagal, Fit finlay :krs:
