when i first heard that 7/11 song i was left
by its simple, repetitive lyrics. i thought it was just an empty turn-up song. but recently my homegirl put me on to this theory that left me
this isn't an !illumati conspiracy theory, but i find it pretty interesting...
my friend said that 7/11 was actually her performing a ritual invoking the goddess Kali..
"Spinnin', I'm spinnin', I'm spinnin' while my hands up
I'm spinnin', I'm spinnin', I'm spinnin' while my hands up
(Drank)
Hold that cup like alcohol, hold that cup like alcohol
Hold that cup like alcohol
Don't you drop that alcohol"
"Girl I'm tryna kick it with you
Girl I'm tryna kick it with you
Man, I'm tryna kick it with you
My feet up, I kick it with you"
The name of Kali means black one and force of time,[2]she is therefore called the Goddess of Time, Change, Power, Creation, Preservation, and Destruction.[3]
Of all the forms of Devi, She is the most compassionate because She provides moksha or liberation to Her children. She is the counterpart of Shiva the destroyer. They are the destroyers of unreality. The ego sees Mother Kali and trembles with fear because the ego sees in Her its own eventual demise.
In art Kali is most often portrayed with blue or black skin, naked, and wearing a Bengali type crown of clay which is painted or gilded. She is, like many Hindu deities, a multiple armed figure with the number of arms being four, eight, ten, twelve, or even eighteen. Each arm usually holds an object and these can include a sword, dagger, trident, cup, drum, chakra, lotus bud, whip, noose, bell, and shield.
the song definitely has some chanting/meditation vibes to it. it also places emphasis on hands and feet in motion which is how Kali is normally depicted. what i also found interesting was beyonce wearing this shirt that says KALE. I know she was vegan or whatever at one point but maybe its a subtle ode to the goddess Kali...
Now this was one of her last videos before releasing formation. if you watch that video you can see a few references to Louisiana voodoo...what ya'll think? i dont see anything wrong with it if she is practicing an african science

Beyoncé’s Lemonade is grown-assblack woman magic. And the lemons that Queen Bey is working with, powerful hoodoo ingredients for overpowering bad energy, are clearly the Louisiana kind. Lush, troubling visuals show that Beyoncé is the goddess, the goddess is furious, the goddess is victorious, and most important: The goddess is every black woman. Slay.
With horror film-style camera work and a gothic Louisiana setting, Lemonade styles Beyoncé as a parade of black Atlantic deities.
Floating on a gush of water and an equally flowing yellow dress, smashing hydrants with glowing laughter and a buoyant reggae beat, Beyoncé is Oshun, the Nigerian, Cuban and Brazilian orisha of sweet water, sexuality and creativity, whose generosity makes life worth living and whose wrath begins with rolling laughter that foreshadows disaster.
Surrounded by flames, rocking untamed hair and cinched into a scarlet dress as her coven cast spells, she’s Erzulie Red-Eyes, the Haitian lwa Edwidge Danticat calls the “hot-blooded Erzulie who feared no men but rather made them her slaves, raped them, and killed them … the only woman with that power.”
