Forgot to make this thread last week, but anyway..
Last saturday I was at a party and chopped it up & smoked with some dudes there and we got to talkin about the chronic & 2001 and in the end there was a debate which one was better n shyt.
And in the middle of the discussion there was also the argument that 2001 has filler while the og doesnt, which some dudes agreed with and some didnt...
So I ask y'all:
Do y'all think the filler argument is right ?
Or is it a flawless album ?

It has some filler for sure

but the great songs are like AMAZING top tier shyt

but still not comparable to The Chronic imo...that's a whole other level of greatness

Exactly my opinion...
The OG Chronic doesnt have skip tracks.
On 2001 the second half has some

Yeah pretty much

Tho I don't really like the Lyrical Gangbang - High Powered sequence, especially the latter song. Those tracks are noticeably weaker than the rest IMO. Probably not to be considered filler tho.

Damn Lyrical Gangbang is a classic just like High Powered & the rest of the album
Only thing I gotta say about High Powered is that a second verse wouldve been the icing on the cake :blessed:

As for the fillers on this album:
"Murder Ink" & "Some LA nikkaz" come to mind first, I actually like "Bang Bang" & "Ackrite"
