I mean you know that TV crazy funny dad hall of fame where you got

Hal From Malcolm in the Middle

Al Bundy From Married with Children

Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince

Phil Dunphy From Modern Family is next be inducted.

But now you got Corey Matthews from Boys Meets world, he's a father in Girl Meets World I think that he will fit in just right with the other crazies.

and he's gon have a daughter :bryan: he gon go wild(daughters bring more blood pressure to dads)
Oh yeah if u got TV dads that should be in that hall of fame please make a suggestion.

I have a nomination. Maybe not considered a tv dad since his wife had passed away and he only had one son and not a big family, and his son was older. but Fred "heart attack mack" Sanford was as funny or funnier than the nominees mentioned. and he in actuality is a dad on tv.

I really hope they make him like his pops Alan

Alan Matthews was one of the realest white TV dads ever. One of the few who actually put his kids in check....and not just to get laughs from the audience like Red Forman. Dude used to get aggressive with Cory in the more serious scenes with no audience laughter, e.g. the episode where Cory and Shawn were drinking, and the episode where Cory was bytching about his parents not doing enough to help out him and Topanga

"Touch it. Touch it. Get some dirt on your hands. Try to see what average looked like from here. To me, average was a dream. That's why my father worked his butt off, so maybe his son could have something more. And I learned from him, Cory. And I respected him because he did the best that he could. And I was proud of him. And he would have been proud of me, too. I don't know. Maybe if my son thinks average is nothing, then I've done my job. But I'm sorry that you're not proud. Of him, me and of yourself."

Agreed. It's kind of what the characters on How I Met Your Mother have become. Hopefully they don't go that direction for Cory's character in GMW.

On a sidenote, let's just go ahead and already nominate Eric Matthews for TV uncle Hall of Fame if he's in this show, since you can always rely on him to come through with quotables.

think about it, this dude was a supermarket manager, and was able to afford that big ass house in philly. yeah it could be bullshyt (like the bundy's being able to afford a house with al's income), but i think it was more about how hard he worked. There were mad eps where he wasnt even seen. Prob busting his ass somewhere :wow:

oh and dont forget the dad from everybody hate's chris. He was working like 10 jobs to support them 3 kids.
