FromSoft literally just swap settings with the same ol' Souls gameplay and call it a day :beli: lol nEw Ip!!!!

bloodborne -victorian london
sekiro - feudal japan
elden ring - medieval europe...again

it's like saying each assassin's creed game is a new IP since they swap settings, and iterate on the gameplay about as much as the soulsborne games do :mjpls:

exactly, it's str8 :duck:to say these games play "nothing alike"

I would argue Assassins Creed 1-3 feel more different to play when compared to the newer entries like Origins, Valhalla, etc. since they completely revamped the combat system and added RPG elements, yet all those games are under the same franchise banner of "Assassin's Creed"

Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring all could've easily been under the Dark Souls banner but Miyazaki is a clout chaser it seems and wants to be renowned for coming up with all these successful "new IPs" :beli:

Maybe elden ring because it’s open world but yeah, there’s a reason the term “Soulsborne” exists.

shyts are pretty much all spin-offs of the same formula.
