Before your quick to say yes, think about it......Look at the current state of hip hop.

Majority of fans not supporting artist's.

Who's considered "hip hop" these days.

Who the youth listen to.

Who controls it.

Would Elect be appreciated the right way?

This nikka need a 30 for 30

What if I told you the best rapper of all time never dropped an album :wow:

I get what you're saying, but I think Elec has the following to surprise us sales-wise, and I always thought/still think Act II would be a game-changer lyrically, a la Illmatic.

Maybe hip-hop doesn't deserve it, but we need it IMO.

I cant see Act II having the same impact as Illmatic.

The lyrical gap between him and most nikkas out is there. It obviously isn't expected to be hailed as a/the GOAT album, but to me it's a matter of having enough of the hip-hop audience's attention, which he does, and his peers' respect, which he does, in order to impact how his peers go about their craft.

If Act II sells as much as the mid-tier "hot in the streets" rappers (which is the 300k I think it would do), it would make that lane and vein of lyricism en vogue, and phase out or at the very least balance out the game's binge on trap rap/flows.

Honestly it's taking so long my interest isn't even there like that anymore.
It's almost getting to the myth point, like in 20 years we all gonna be talking to shortys like "Yoooo there was this nice nikka back in the day. He dropped the best hip hop track ever and just bounced. He even wifed up some billionaire, dude was out cold."
And kids gonna be like :dwillhuh:
