Does homelessness terrify anyone?

I’ve never been homeless before but for some reason it’s the number one thing that scares the shyt out of me. I can’t imagine the fear of one day not having any money, no home to go to and just randomly walking outside all day, hungry, tired and just waiting for some alleyway to sleep for the night. Watching people going to their homes, etc. Might as well just commit that

Not at all, but I’ve been homeless twice. Once in college for 5/6 months and another time in the streets of NY for 4/5 months. My apprehension was going to the shelter. I was a college educated man waking up in a room full of junkies and prison nikkaz, but I would do it again if I had to. It actually made me a better man

Me and you are in the same boat. This is why family values in America need to be raised.


Even if I was broke I at least know I have many resources of people who would take me in and good thing for me is I know how to get back on my feet.

When I use to do the security at McDonald’s at the age of 20 I remember the homeless dudes that were cool were always given food at McDonald’s.

This. If you not on drugs or have mental issues you shouldn't have to worry. 330 million people in this country and 99.5% have figured out how to not be homeless or starve. The ones that haven't are degenerates. You'll be alright.
