Does it bother you that rappers get high as hell and still make trash?

I'm not saying drugs can substitute for skill but every rapper I know that gets high goes up a notch creatively. You have all these rappers lighting up and spitting horrible shyt. Am I the only one who gets a little bothered by this?

Just try freestyling before and after drinking or blazing up. I'm damn near Manny Fresh level after smoking or drinking a few glasses of wine. On adderall I'm damn near Canibus from the Wyclef era

But what I think happens is that after awhile you get so used to that shyt that the creativity isn't there anymore. The novelty wears off. Your serotonin levels are shot. You can't get to that place anymore.

Hence Weezy still sipping on that surp but now he's struggling.
