Does it bother you when you don't get credit when it's due?

Keep it 100. No PC answers please. Do you hate when you don't get the credit that you think you deserve. It could happen at work where certain people get recognition and you hardly do. Your boss never recognizes your work? Or maybe you've set a trend and people don't give you the credit for it. Or something else totally different. Bottom line, how do you respond when you don't get your just do you deserve? Or maybe it doesn't bother at all and don't really crave for attention (which maybe true but in other cases false humility.) So what about you?

It's off-putting but I try not to take it personally.
It's not something that happens often in my line of work.
In fact I often get praise for menial shyt that I do.

Not really, cause I get credit where credit is due. And I appreciate it, cause I do the same too. No matter what it is.
