Depends I know some cultures it's normal for men not to know how to really cook.

And women are expected to cook. I know some men in my dad generation don't really know how to cook but they can BBQ.

Me personally that view is kinda antiquated. I became vegetarian and I wouldn't want none of these broads cooking for me unless she was vegan/vegetarian herself. Even then I can make my own quinoa avocado bowl.
You're a rare bread sir. Not many like you out there. Most men gorge themselves on the dead flesh of animals. God bless you. I bet your sex drive is on point. .. but i digress.

I takes no more than one or two tries to learn how to make a basic dish. Get to cooking.

Being able to cook for yourself a matter of basic self reliance and sustainability.

I think it matters if you can't do it.

This is the same as asking "does it matter if a grown man can't wipe himself if he has money?"

It's such a stupid question...acting if having money puts you above the fundamental aspects of simply existing.

You don't need to be a damn chef, but every man should know how to cook a few things. Simple shyt, chicken, pasta, etc.
