If he can do this for 3 more years, which I think he can, then yeah it's an argument that he'd have the most impressive longevity. I'd like to see him win some titles in that time tho, no reason to only play for a scoring record.

Jaromir Jagr and Teamu Selanne are in their 40's and playing hockey at a high level still. (Both scored 50+ points in an 82 game season) and hockey is more physically demanding. It's very impressive that they've managed to continue their high level of play considering the fact that they've been in the NHL since the early 90s.

Hell, Ray Lewis bout to come back from what was suppose to be a career ending injury and he was drafted the same year as Kobe. 1996 was a strong year.
