Inflation is up 1.9% in 7 months while wage growth is up 1.3% in 12 months. But the release claims wage growth is beating inflation. And wages beating inflation was a losing argument for Dems last election, even though it was true. Someone please make it make sense.

The White House just put out a press release on inflation falling on certain goods "just in time for back-to-school shopping." Their list includes "Hotels" and "Ship fares". It does not include school supplies like backpacks, paper, or writing utensils. You'll never guess why!

People gotta differentiate the market and the every man economy tho and this is where all this shyt gets muddy. Just like when everyone was struggling in the pandemic after a VERY quick sell off the markets came back and thrived. It's similar to what's going on now.
