Does New England try to find a #1 receiver in this draft too?

The Patriots have missed out on receiver picks year after year for quite some time, and this Sunday's game proves :beli: that there are points in the game where having a true top receiver is necessary. Sure Gronk is the top guy in terms of utilization but he's a tight end.
Who is worth trading for( that would be dealt by their team) or worth a draft pick? Is it Mike Evans in the draft or a known commodity?

Do they? Nah.

Should they? If there's a Dez/Megatron like receiver (big beasts), I think they should trade up to get him. I don't watch college football like that so I wouldn't know

A behemoth like Mike Evans from Texas A&M should be a priority, and if you can't get Evans then trade for an Andre Johnson or something. You can't have Brady in his twilight years as a pro throwing to 5'9 white boys. It's painful to watch. Knowing Beli though, he'll flop in the draft on yet another receiver.

*sees Sammy Watkins & Mike Evans on the board, trades pick instead for future first rounder*
Its a shame that Brady took a cap friendly deal so they can bring in talent, but won't surround him with a threat at WR.

Not happening. Belichick has never drafted a WR in the first round. And he has never paid top dollar for one(even Moss). Plus with McC up to get paid and Talib, the Pats will not have the Cap space for a Andre Johnson. They will be about 10 million under the cap going into the offseason as it stands now.

Tho I think the Pats are fine at WR going into next year. With Dobson KT Boyce, Amedola. they just need to stay healthy, and the Pats need to target TE in the draft on the O side of the ball.

I wish they would have taken Vincent Jackson 2 yrs ago instead of grabbing Brandon Lloyd's weird falling to the ground ass. I understand why they didn't (1 strike equaled 1 year suspension), but shyt, we need a big bodied wideout to stretch the field. I just don't see these guy's cutting it as legit #1s. Drafting a #1 or trading for one is the thing that needs to happen to create a coaching change philosophically. Right now, everyone can be a game's main target which is cool, but when no one is a beast, it causes shyt like yesterday's loss to happen.

Tom Brady is 36 and will be 37 by the time the 2014 season begins.
You're damn right the Patriots will go after a WR.
Because he's throwing to a bunch of retards humping a door knob right now. And Brady's window is closing fast.
