Does no one realize how great a career Vince Carter had as a 3 point shooter?

Every time I tell people that Vince Carter is #6 on the list for most made 3 point shots in NBA history, everyone is always stunned because they think of his athleticism and his highlight reel dunks.

But 1ith 1,898 3s, and only Kidd, Pierce, Terry, Miller, and Allen above him, I think it's safe to say he's incredibly underrated as a shooter.

Maybe not to NBA heads, but definitely among casual fans this always seems to shock people.

Right? He's been in the NBA since '98 or '99 I think.

Definitely a top 5 oldest player in the league. Has to be. I know Duncan and KG are 40 or right at the door, so they're up there with him. I know Duncan is for sure 40. But there can't be many more in the nba older than Vince.

its a shame he never got to play for a great coach in his prime to bring the best out of him. still a HOF regardless though
