I understand that Tribe is huge and worshipped in hip-hop and alternative circles and is one of the most notorious hip-hop acts of all-time. They were also at the forefront of the alternative hip-hop/Native Tongues movement that exploded in the early 1990s, but it (sort of) fizzled out when the gritty, hardcore renaissance took place at the end of 1993.


If ATCQ announced that it was dropping a new album, would anyone outside of passionate communities notice? Would NY be looking out for it?

Tribe is one of my fave groups of all time but in todays climate they wouldn't stand a chance. Id cop tho simply because I loved every album they dropped, even the love movement and beats rhymes and life which used to get shytted on.
