Uncertain grounds
I had Arians as the runaway winner..and he still may be the odds on favorite..but O'Brien turned around a 2 win team to a 9-7 team and he also had to deal with a terrible QB situation (4 QB's..none very good). Arians also won in 2012 so that may play into the voters decision making in terms of not wanting to give it to a guy who recently won.

There hasn't been a coach since Gibbs to win back to back (82,83) ..and as far as I can tell..there hasnt been a coach to win the award only one season removed from their previous award since George Halas in 63 and 65.

Arians could be an exception since it was with a different team..but I think O'Brien has at-least made up ground and has become a legitimate contender...nearly neck and neck with Arians.

Im a Texans fan and saying fukk OBRIEN. HE fukked up in numerous ways to me:

1. Passed on Bortles, Bridgewater to draft a Clowney when we so desperately needed a QB. Decided Mallet and Fitzpatrich were suitable starting QBs, while overlooking Keenum

2. Drafted Savage and wouldn't even give him a chance

3. His X's and O's are decent, but his ability to evaluate talent is shyt
