I remember meeting Queen Latifah at a Liks show in Toronto around 2002. I think she was here filming a movie with Steve Martin. Mad cool. Way shorter then I imagined, but had the same vibe as my aunt.



Does Queen Latifah get the love she deserves though as a positive black celebrity, actress and OG in the rap game?

Nah, what I'm saying is most people only bring up their catalogs to shyt on stripper rappers. They aren't true knowlegeable fans of Latifah, Lyte or Rapsody, my follow up question when someone brings them up is to ask them their favorite Rapsody or Queen Latifah bar. At most they just chant a hook or quote UNITY
