Does RAKIM not having guest features hurt his legacy as a top tier mc ?

these dudes get calls all day to be featured on tracks..and have loads of guest appearances to choose from...theyre music, verses, and just presence is always in demand within the game....this nikka has like 4 songs hes featured on ...and like 3 are dr dre affiliated

he also got dropped from a label who later signed bishop lamont....put that in perspective

theres something about him that prevented him from ever being on top ..

im not saying he doesn't have any talent...good flow and voice....but from a lyrical standpoint, have we been overating rakim a bit too much when it comes to being an all time great?
