Why don’t we ask @NewYorkIsBetterThanDallas when he wakes up from his time at Friday night sissy fights?

Maybe this my high off cocaine thoughts but when you thinc about it we say guys don't be having hands n be windmilling swinging like women have poor form etc.. Is that direct result from slap boxing as a kid? You're not using proper form r swinging right so naturally when you get into a real fight it's gun be off

I think it helps you with your distance and reflex

this... I’d say it only helps when you go against people that somewhat know what their doing or have control. Only thing is it kind of defeats the point of learning body shots and real reach...

No. But it will get your reflexes up so that if you want to take up boxing, you'll be slightly better than someone who hasn't slap-boxed before.

Like cats said. It's for your reflexes and dodges. We used to call them "taps" in the gym. Because you can go full speed, the object wasn't to slap someone it was to tap/touch/tag the person's head or face. If you were good with your ducks and dodges, keeping your head moving, you were good. I can't remember if we went 60 seconds or 2 minutes but if you got tagged 10 times you had to do 50 burpees. Then repeat the drill until you passed the time without getting tagged.

You could add body shots too. Enough to sting, enough to knock the wind out of someone who wasn't paying attention, but not hard enough to bruise ribs, take someone out with a kidney or liver shot.

It really helps you keep your hands up, as well as maintain a clear line of sight. A lot of people can keep their hands up but because they aren't in the right positions, their own arms/hands are blocking their line of sight so they can't counterpunch or appropriately block a combination.
