anybody in here or on the coli can give me details on the Canadian military? I've been in america all my life but im a Canadian citizen.

what is similar or different compared to America.

@Slang Dussain Ali can you help me out?

I want to do this for my own motivation...especially to help with paying for education and health...but I would be lying If I said your avatar wasn't giving me more motivation :whew:

I know I've trained with the Canadian Army but remember very little about them. It was mostly cac, but they were cool. They loved to drink (as all soldiers) even while on duty. If I remember correctly, it was allowed with them, a certain limit.

They weren't as hard charging as we were and it seemed to be pretty chill in their units...for a cac. Don't remember any brehs being there. But keep in mind this was on deployment.

Their equipment was pretty good too. Be prepared to adjust to living and operating in the cold. I was a artic warrior in Alaska.

The American Army, it was the worst of times as well as the best of times. You'll be in some fukked up situations, but going through it with brothers, so you'll make the best of it.

My time in the army showed me that I can handle anything. Being a civilian now, no matter what job or situation I'm :youngsabo: about it. People think I'm invincible and a machine. Has made life easy.

It allowed me to see the nature of women when they're on even ground with men. Guess what...they're as whorish as we are! A bytch will invite you over, let you knock the walls out that p*ssy, then kick you out her spot. Keep that shyt on the low and only call you over to repeat. Won't expect shyt from you except hard dikk. It's why I'm killing these hoes out here. I allow them to be them with no judgement.

Just read some more of your questions...

The army is like being on a college campus with a little b.s. and a pay check. If you don't have anything going on, and you're not Malcolm X, go for it.

Score good on the entrance test and you can pick your job. You can be in a job that transfers well into the civilian world when you decide to exit. I got a buddy who was in IT. When he gets out, with his clearance and experience, he will be 6 figures.

Don't worry about being skinny, most people in the army are. It will actually make it easier for you. You'll have plenty time to bulk up at your leasure. It gives you a blueprint of how to take care of yourself. I'm 40 years old and just today a jit at work was shocked to find I'm not in my 20's.

The benefits are :ohlawd: though you may not realize it while in. Free place to stay, medical, dental, jnsurance, bills taken care of and you get a pay check!:salute:

Just two more questions...I know where you are deployed depends on certain things...but in Canada where would you say your most likely to go?

And I just found out about Canada's rules on facial hair and I'm currently growing out a beard...I hate feeling like white people are emasculating me. These are the same peopel that would tell you to shave your beard because women at your customer service job are scared. How did you deal with that?

I don't know much about Canadian peacetime deployments. I imagine you have deployments to the other hotbed such as Afghan, Africa, Iraq, etc.

Yeah it felt wrong not being able to have a beard. But lemme put you on game. At least on the American army, we got around that by getting a shaving profile. You tell the doctor during a visit that shaving makes your face bump up no matter what shaving method you use. That way you can walk around with a nice, neat beard. But truthfully you won't even miss it if you give it up. No one else will have one and you'll just fall in line.
