I like some of the new artists, but overall the quality of rap, especially lyricism, and having your own style is in the minority, most current rappers are copy cats, the rap I grew up to rappers took pride in having their own style and sounding unique

J Cole and Lil Wayne are still relevant in mainstream Hip Hop, the others admittedly are flabby heads in 2023.

Looking forward to the Wayne and 2chainz collab project, the Meek Mill/Ross album was wack :francis:

Overall this has been a weak year in Hip Hop, Larry June has the AOTY IMO. Everything else has been ehhhh
