I was in the thread the night he won the title. Most of them nikkas were happy......either because Miz won, or because Orton lost the title. Either way, there were only a few nikkas who were hating.....the rest were celebrating, and laughing at the little girl making the face

So many people these days try to pretend they didn't like the Miz. Even before his title run, people were gushing over him and Morrison and their little sit-down webshow.

I was fine with his title win. I thought he had made improvements. From complete garbage to decent in the ring (could be carried to a good match) and he could cut a good heel promo. And 2010 was such a horrible year in WWE, specially the 2nd half, that his push was at least something different

Thing was, instead of raising up to the occasion and making a leap in his performance. Miz regressed as soon as he won the title. He choked big time and deserves all the criticism he gets.

Right before he got that push, dude HAD to have known that he was nowhere near main-event status, much less WWE champion status. I'll even go as far as to say he probably always "knew" that he would never actually get to that level. Probably expected his career to peak at being the IC/US champ or some shyt. He just seemed like the "I'm just happy to be here" type.

Then to be given the title, and a WM match with Cena.....

I can't see him ever being disappointed with his career, no matter what. He was the fukkin' WWE champion. He beat the biggest wrestler at the biggest wrestling event of the year. How many wrestlers are out there who were better in the ring, had a bigger following, had a better "look", but never had those opportunities?

He isn't like some of these other wrestlers out there who are marks for themselves, and aren't content until they get to the top and stay there for as long as possible. He isn't like CM Punk. If Punk got the Miz treatment, got a WWE title reign and then saw his status drop from there, he'd probably cry and run away like a little......
