People say they like the nfl because of parity and any team can win when honestly the same teams continue to win every year.

Jags, bucs, browns, dolphins, bengals etc all these bottom feeding teams every yesr continue to be bad.

pats, packers, seahawks, ravens etc always are good/decent

then you have a bunch of middle tier teams that have no shot at making the superbowl.

The only outlier so far are steelers and 49ers but you know steelers bouncing back next year and niners may regress to the mean soon.

how is this parity?

True parity would have any team winning or being good in any given year

Yes there's parity. The reason you think there's not is because of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

NFC has sent 12 different teams to the Super Bowl since 2000. AFC has only sent 6.

Brady/Belichick is the GOAT tandem, you don't have to like it but you must accept it.
Naw this aint even about the superbowl

This about the same teams winning and the same teams losing every single year.

browns all that hype still bad
Bucs with an excellent coach suck
Jags with that defense still losin
Dolphins why are they even a football team?
Jets remain trash
On and on. Same teams different year

NFC is more open than the AFC but even out there, eventually the Pats will fall off once Brady and Beli hang up their hats.

You just thinking about the last 6 years, Seahawks have not always been good and any given season.....the NFC West is wide open.....the Hawks, Rams or 49ers could win it (Cards are usually the losers of the division but watch them improve next decade).

Same thing with other divisions in the NFC (South, East, North). Besides a couple of franchises (Lions), every team has a legit shot at the SB each decade.

Bad franchise. Horrible HC. Bad ownership

Bucs with an excellent coach suck

Bad QB.

Jags with that defense still losin

In AFCCG two years ago, they are on their backup QB

Dolphins why are they even a football team?

Bad ownership. Clearly tanking

Jets remain trash

Bad ownership

On and on. Same teams different year - if you have bad ownership, nothing else matters. Your team will be bad.

Parity doesn't mean every team in the league is equal.
I'd say there is a lot of parity compared to the other sports I care about.

Bucs - fairly recent SB.
Jags - recently in AFCCG
Dolphins - Made playoffs 2016, hover around 6-10 to 10-6 every year. (Not this year lol)
Browns - :mjlol:
Bengals - Made playoffs 6 of 7 years from 09-15.

Fairly recent? It was 17 years ago. Miami has 2 trips to the playoffs in the last 19 years including this season. Yeah Cincinnati made the playoffs, but they haven’t won a playoff game since the 1989 season. The jaguars have made the playoffs 3 times in the last 19 years and aren’t likely to make it this year either.

OP you don’t really know what parity means. If there wasn’t really parity then the chiefs wouldn’t have lost 2 straight. The Dolphins made the playoffs like 2 years ago but now they’re tanking.

Every team that makes it to the SuperBowl is operating within there 1-3yr window. Each championship squad will have to lose key players due to salary cap and expiring rookie contracts. You give all your money to a quarterback you better draft a good reciever because it's probably not Alot of money to get one. You get my drift OP that's why the NFL has parity. Some organizations are just run for profit and not to actually win (just my opinion)
