They didn't. At least not yet. From what I can gather, Target and these other companies are basically eliminating all of the extra funding, positions and resources geared specifically towards "DEI." They're basically going back to the same strategies they had prior to the George Floyd public-outrage.

But when every company started this trend, it should've been known that it was just for public image. Most of them didn't really do anything other than create the position.
