Everytime I hear there is a huge game update (Dead Rising 3 (13gb) or BF4 (several GB updates)) I notice that when I turn on my xbox1 I never get prompted to download the update. All that happens is I get a notification saying Installation started...and literally 5-10 seconds later I get another notification that says the same game name and LAUNCH. Am I to believe that all my game updates are happening in the background even when the system is in standby and all the xbox one does when you turn it on is takes 10 seconds to install these updates? I never saw anything about this for sure

Its a big reason why they was shooting for the "always on" so things like this can be done

Hard drive rapidly filling up & uoeno :scusthov:
Oh, I guess you wasn't told about this.
ALL XBOX ONE OWNERS HAVE UNLIMITED CLOUD STORAGE VIA THE CLOUD :blessed:
I got a friend who comes by, when he logs in? His games are available instantly, thanks to the cloud :whew:

I know, you furious about it. Didn't wanna believe it when I posted article after article about it
But hey, maybe you can eventually stream a PS1/2/3 game to your vita for $15 a month
Then you can act like you winning the next gen wars :bryan:

Sony seems to have that nintendo mentality now :patrice:

They have said since day one that you can store your games in the cloud, and that you have unlimited cloud storage if you are an XB1 owner.

Now do they run the game from the cloud, or does it download?
I don't know 100% for sure. What I do know is once he logged in, his homescreen appeared with his games
We went into one and it started instantly. Maybe my internet with its 50mb down is part of the reason :manny:

I know you don't have to finish downloading to play either. So maybe those are factors?
All I know is I didn't wait. And I know that harddrive space will NOT be an issue for Xbox owners.
If you are looking to spin this into something negative. Have fun doing that :tu:
