imo it was the bloods who came out of nowhere on the streets although I heard they started in rikers...it might depend on the neighborhoods tho...but I didn’t hear of anyone claiming blood back then tho in the early to mid 90s...my cuz’ns “set” was started by a dude who moved from out CA to NJ and spent a lot of time in BK so it’s not hard for me to believe dude when he said his cuz’n put ppl on as well...in the late 90s is when I saw more folks claiming blood...nikkas I grew up w/ who were far too old for the dumb shyt literally started claiming blood out of nowhere...they had a crazy presence in times square as well...I remember going up there w/ my cuz’n and we almost got into some serious shyt...I said that was gonna be the last time I hung out w/ dude lmao
