one of the best women I ever dated was a lawyer and she was making high 6 figures but she never threw it in my face, only ended because she had no time for me.

sign me up for a good woman that is a nurse making bread, or a dentist or a doctor let me eat .

My mom always made more than my dad like 40-50k more but it was daddy's household

because whatever she had was his and vie versa two becoming one

my wife makes more money than me by like 13k but since im in charge of all the household finances anyway it doesnt matter. as soon as she gets paid she puts her share in our joint account and i add my share and i take care of what needs to be taken care of and put away something in savings.

as long as you make a decent living, it doesn't matter if she makes more.

for instance, if my wife made 200K and I made 100K, I wouldn't give a damn. even tho she makes more money in that situation, it's not like she could hold it over my head like I'm some kinda bum.


however, if it were a situation where I was unemployed and she made like 20K a year, she'd be the man of that relationhip.

We're in the same tax bracket, I make about $8000 more annually than her

She's more career oriented than me, so she'll probably end up making more than me in 5-7 years

I have always made more than my old lady. but she has a masters now, and will have a phd before the end of the year, so there's something seriously wrong if she doesn't end up making significantly more than I do when it's all said and done cuz all I got is a bachelor's.
