I just got a free trial to see what it is.
Its a newsreader index for usenet the way the pirate bay or kickass torrents is for indexing torrents.
Its nothing special.
The search index is not great and the content is ridiculously mainstream.
You need a usenet client. Same way clicking on a torrent or magnet link on does nothing unless you have a Torrent Cliebt like Vuze or Bitlord or whatever.

But usenet is fairly outdated in my opinion.
I used it back before napster was cracking when there was stuff like Kazaa and Limewire.
Its pretty old technology.

it maybe old but i would still consider it to be the best out there when it comes to finding content. it has everything if you know how to use usenet. it's worth the money...

Yeah, I understand the reason it was invented.
Like I said, I have almost 2 decades experience with usenet and NZBs... tryna compile 30 files then noticing they are .001 - .033 so having to finf the two files I'm missing to properly extract the archieve.
I did all that... but now with TPB, KAT, EZTV, darknet... freenet... all the places on deepweb, deadfrog, chans, and direct FTP spots I just don't ever use it anymore. I still have cassettes, I just never play them. Nothing is wrong with them, per se. Just easier options.
