Dogset, why didn't y'all warn me!

I went from rage at being given a "surprise" puppy by my husband to now having 4 dogs. I find myself thinking of a 5th dog plus a kitten (would the cat be safe?). I talk to them (dogs) all the time and feel more for them than humans I've known for years... which worries me.

I overheard the work men who had come to do some work for a few days mock me by greeting my pups in the order and way I greet them when the dogs went to look in on them. I have become one of the very people I used to mock myself. My friends laugh at the time and effort I put into my dog meals.

The lovable little fkrs are like crack.

They spend a lot of time in the house but they sleep in their kennels outside.

if you didn’t mind my asking do you live in a state where it’s warm year round or are they specific breeds that can stay out in the cold?

Your house is now 90% dog dander, bacteria ridden slobber and putrid anal secretion.

It is not, I hope... Ripped out all carpet and its cleaned daily, boers do slobber... the dogs are washed and their kennels cleaned.

Clean animals don't actually stink, from my experience, but I've only ever lived with 2 dogs max. I'm thinking errbody crib i been to that had a dog it didn't stink and they didn't have hair everywhere. They were outside more often than not tho. I don't agree with having a dog if you don't have a backyard or a fence anywhere

We have a really big gated and walled on all sides lot. So even if I can't run or walk them this week they are always running and chasing each other and with my kids.

Zimbabwe. Very warm 90%, but in winter we add blankets to their beds in their kennels.
