He was wrong, but they allowed the situation to escalate over a $6 purchase.
I've seen quality managers solve scenarios easy by just letting them have the shyt, (they would toss it in the trash anyway)
instead screaming and yelling and threatening until you get hit.
I would advise the employee who got hit to sue the attacker, but also fire him. Doing too much over $6 dollars

THEY DID! They told him just take the sandwich and get the fukk on and he took two steps to the door and decided to turn around and argue with everyone.
They did? i heard her in the video saying she can't let him have the sandwich. and he was holding that bag at the time she said it. I figured he had his cookies or something already but they refused to give the sandwich.
Edit: I rewatched it at the 2:48 sec mark she says she can't give him the sandwich and you hear him off camera snatch the shyt away from her.
as i said before if the situation is getting that tense over food that you have to discard regardless of the outcome. just let him have that shyt and de-escalate.
They were not going to deconstruct that sandwich and put it back for the next customer. It was going in the garbage. They choose to fight over garbage.

In the first 10 seconds the dude with the ponytail told him take the sandwich just get the fukk out. Everything after 10 seconds is the lead up
the first 10 secs was not in the same order of events as the rest of the video. They start explaining what lead up to that afterwards.
