Pretty much all of the Wu shytted on Cilvaringz in their recent documentary. The whole time they were talking about him RZA was sitting there like

not a whole lot he could say since he was the one who let him in

Idk i softened on cilva

He is a convenient scape goat imo.

Sure wu didnt get paid for a wu album

But that wasnt his call. Thats rzas.

They tried shopping a cilva/wu album and it wasnf gonna bring in bread

And on one hand should i get mad rza git to make bread off a wu album he put lil work in when he out 80% of the work in the others.

But i dont wanna be mad at the guy whos idea to make a wu/killa bee dream album and brought it to existance. They would have never called shabazz the disciple and been like β€œget on this track with ghost” so idk

Cilva has shown hes more than capable in bringing that wu vibe to his productjons. His quality level is high. Gorilla hood weeping tiger etc he brought bronz naz to the clan. Imagine masta killa albums no bronze. Ughh

Hes def money oriented over art. But he has a family to feed. He cant stan forever at a loss. And jumped over guys youd think would have made the play before him. But they didnt. He did.

Love dom too btw. Dope rapper. But look how he had to make his own lane to get it going. Cilva had rzas guidance but its not like he was around like thay. He made things happen. He set up the international tours. He laid a lotta groundwork for them and the album got them millions in press for free essentially.

They all talk bad about it now but they all spoke highly when it was announced. Ive seen people say it was scraps. Cilva dont work that way. I dont think it was. As a producer for the clan hes sitting pretty high up batting average wise.

Maybe he had money connections. Idk. All i know is i wanna hear the album 100%. Its complicated imo and i dont wanna judge the man. I had my days where I thought he was as well but im over it.
