:rocky:What kinda budget he looking for? With shyt like Tidal (not that I fukk with it) coming up and 100% free distribution online, you telling me there aren't
enough black people in hollywood to get it popping? You call Master P?

Again, what kinda budget was he looking for? I understand "black" movies get the shaft, but what was the goal? To shoehorn in major studio demands for mass distribution, or
to make a good biopic, even if it isn't in 1000+ theaters.

Bruh American history shows every time we get together for economic freedom, them folk come in and literally burn it to the ground. Tulsa, Ok Rosewood, FL, Seneca Village, NYC etc, MLK, Black panthers, noi, Malcolm x, We can only have shyt if they approve. The last group of black folk to get together as collective was Irv Gotti, Suge, Dame Dash,J Prince too get black artist unionized all these magical charges popped on Murder Inc and dissolved the merger before it happened

Suge, Irv Gotti, J. Prince, and Dame Dash's Black Record Distribution company deal blocked?

This is what I keep telling yall.

Black entertainers (music, actors, athletes, talking heads, media figures, etc) are the ONLY people with money. Real money.

Theres no real significant number of black millionaires outside of those realms connected to any annals of power. Theres tons of thousandaires though.

ENTERTAINERS can not be trusted to make real change. They rely on others for jobs, they rely on others to like them, they rely on others for auditions, they rely on others to make money. They can't even express themselves.

Entertainers WILL NEVER save the black community.

NEVER

This is why I push that STEM life. Get money OUTSIDE of entertainment. COMPLETELY outside of entertainment.

Blacks need that money where NOTHING you say can ever hurt your cash flow. Blacks need money from things everyone needs and will always view you as an asset to themselves.

At some point..........maybe.........one day ......... in this century ......:dead:

The African Diaspora will be able to regularly finance and support with quality ROI, films with mostly black casts....of all genres......one day........in this century....... keep saying, and Im not just echoing Umar or Tariq, that the fate of the African continent is the fate of African Americans and the rest of the non-continental Diaspora :wtb:.

A random Ugandan multi-millionaire should be able to distribute a random African American film project, etc because going forward those type of relationships should be typical and a paradigm of what an integrated Diaspora should look like.

It's not racist or nationalistic, hell it's just copying what the rest of the world does already.

A random African American NBA, NFL, MLB player, Rapper, or Actor should be able to distribute a random African American film project.
