Don Lemon, like a lot of other folks, have zero understanding of 'reparations' and he, like those other folks, should stop running their mouths about it. It's not a game, it's a justice claim that requires research and understanding on what it should look like. Don Lemon clearly hasn't done either and it showed here. Her argument is no different from what any other inbred cac from Athens, Alabama on Twitter would say, but it still stumped him.

Did Africa have slavery? yes, but a vast majority of the slaves before the transatlantic slavetrade were war prisoners. These demons made it a business.

Anyone with an elementary knowledge of history could have refuted every single talking point she made. Off the top, England was not the first country to abolish with slavery. Then she topped off that lie by trying to coax some sort of sympathy for helping to solve a problem they created. Plus England milked their black slave colonies until the damn 70s
So why were slave owners being paid up until a few years ago?
That's all he had to ask her. Bristol recently paid off it's debts to slave owners.

Slavery stopped because of the industrial revolution and there were cheaper ways to get labour than slavery.
It didn't stop because of sympathetic white folks.
