i like don but this was embarrassing to watch. are we really going to be going to war with each other on who isnt black now? her father is full on black and damn it, thats what matters. if she was like that girl who married british royalty, then its a different story.don doesnt seem to understand this type of arguments diminishes him. same thing goes for that woman.
When is Don Lemon going to come out the closet?

Why isn't that an important question to ask? I agree with Don. Asking her whether she is culturally AA or is culturally JA is an important question.i like don but this was embarrassing to watch. are we really going to be going to war with each other on who isnt black now? her father is full on black and damn it, thats what matters. if she was like that girl who married british royalty, then its a different story.

This was an interesting clip for a multitude of reasons.
For one the false critique of “she’s not black enough” is being used when no one is “questioning her blackness”. And that lady also said “African slaves we’re brought to America so she can be African America” which points to one of the reasons ADOS was created in the first place.
They are still trying to deflect and argue against points no one is making to deflate the ADOS steam.
Which brings up the next thing. This clip once again proves this movement is continuously growing. Whether don lemon truly believes it or not(he’s a constant half stepper) he’s acknowledging it. But at the same time he fumbled the explanation and purpose of the distinction. At the very least, he pushed back on that whole “they’re questioning her blackness based on stereotypes” narrative, which I don’t even where that came from.
Wow. We really, know how to tear down our own people. Especially at the worst times. She's black.
Then you got a white guy inserting, "does she act black enough". This is what happens when we act like crabs in a barrel.
