Vince's thing is loyalty.

I cannot remember if anyone has been screwed over after a handshake agreement with Vince, but he keeps to his word unless people have examples of Vince breaking them. So if Rude broke the handshake with Vince, then knowing Vince, he probably is still pissed about it and isn't putting him in anytime soon.

Trump is in because he sponsored earlier WM's 4&5 iirc.

I think it was Flair's autobiography where he said that Vince will always honor a handshake agreement and does the most to take care of wrestlers who stayed with the company/always came in ready to work. Edge/Kane come to mind when it came to the former's multiple title runs and Kane winning MITB/WHC from Mysterio.


Rude appeared on both Raw and Nitro on the same night and badmouthed Michaels and praised Hart who left on bad terms as well.

Funny though, in the couple of WWE games he was in, he would be listed as a legend
