Talking about the Koch Brothers retreat this past weekend:

"Trump wasn't as generous in his assessment of Rubio and the others who came to the Koch retreat, writing on Twitter: "I wish good luck to all of the Republican candidates that traveled to California to beg for money etc. from the Koch Brothers. Puppets?""

Just something to talk about it. Bush is going to win it and eventually the presidential campaign. The Bush dynasty will continue

New poll shows Donald Trump blowing everyone else out of the water

Real-estate magnate Donald Trump's rise in the polls isn't showing any signs of slowing ahead of the first GOP presidential primary debate this week.

A new Monmouth University poll published Monday found Trump not only ahead but also with a widened lead. He now has more than a 2-to-1 advantage over his nearest rivals.

"Republican support for Donald Trump just continues to grow with no clear sense of who his constituency really is," Patrick Murray, the director of the poll, said in a statement accompanying the results.

Murray added, "This makes it very difficult for his opponents to figure out how to take him on in the upcoming debate."

The debate, hosted by Fox News, is Thursday, and national poll results will determine which candidates make the cut.

Trump earned support from 26% of Republican voters, according to the poll, compared with roughly 12% for former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida and 11% for Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin. No other candidate had more than 6%, though with a diverse field of credible candidates, the polling is likely to be volatile in the coming weeks and months.

The Monmouth survey also found that Trump's once sky-high unpopularity has essentially reversed itself compared with previous months' surveys.

The pollster's write-up of the results noted "that GOP voter opinion of Donald Trump continues to improve."

"It now stands at 52% favorable to 35% unfavorable," the write-up said. "It was 40% favorable to 41% unfavorable three weeks ago. Before he announced in June, it stood at a significantly negative 20% favorable to 55% unfavorable."

Uncertain grounds
not a debate though right?

its on now

not quite a debate but its been very good. the moderator is on point..asks about 4-5 questions then brings up the next candidate and they have multiple rounds. hes not really letting people off the hook with generic talking points either.

trump is the only one not to show :russ: i thought he'd be there but apparently he said there would be too many people and that the local paper was biased because they wouldnt endorse him under any circumstance anyway :troll:

some are low-key positioning to side with him by using very similar language and sneak dissing those who came out against him :jbhmm:
