4. How the funds will be spent? The funds collected here will be used by the Brown family to cover funeral and burial expenses, travel and living expenses of the parents as they seek justice for their son, Michael Brown, Jr.
I assume that the parents will be traveling around the country speaking at rallies and different events on behalf of their slain son and the need for change in the practices that ended up killing their son. Similar to how Trayvon Martin's parents traveled to tell their story.
Either way, there's people sending money to support the cop who killed this young man. Do we have an excuse not to do the same for this family? If so, then what kind of "community" are we?

Just to be clear, I'm not looking to turn this thread into a who's right/wrong thing.
Its just in my nature to question these things as I do everything else. I'm sure the money for the cop will go towards his legal fees plus money lost from not working. They did the same for Zimmerman.
I just hate to see money being raised for a cause then you see the family in brand new fully loaded excursions for "travel" and a brand new house for "protection". See what I'm saying? Same thing with churches and tithes or non profits.
