"These funds will assist his family with costs that they will acquire as they seek justice on Michael’s behalf. These funds will not be used for legal fees; all funds will be given to the family of Michael Brown."
Not to be THAT person...but what exactly will the money be used for if not the legal costs?"

LOL white folks would just scream 'TAKE MY MONEY!' if it was a white kid or Asian girl.
White dude posts link, other whites want to start asking question? Aight then
(For the record, I'm all for asking questions, but that bucket intentional/aggressive viral shyt got me feeling some type of way. I guess the Jeremy Meeks shyt got me feeling some type of way, too, in a different way.)
Just to be clear, I'm not looking to turn this thread into a who's right/wrong thing.Per the site:
4. How the funds will be spent? The funds collected here will be used by the Brown family to cover funeral and burial expenses, travel and living expenses of the parents as they seek justice for their son, Michael Brown, Jr.
I assume that the parents will be traveling around the country speaking at rallies and different events on behalf of their slain son and the need for change in the practices that ended up killing their son. Similar to how Trayvon Martin's parents traveled to tell their story.
Either way, there's people sending money to support the cop who killed this young man. Do we have an excuse not to do the same for this family? If so, then what kind of "community" are we?
Peace
