He meant you don't keep getting hit in the head in basketball or have that type of trama repeadly.

In football you going to take another hit that will shake up your brain.

It doesn't matter. If you have a concussion and you still are doing heavy physical activity and something fast paced and quick thinking like basketball, it will further aggravate the symptoms. Especially since there's no chance that the player will be able to protect his head from any contact.

Hate to say Charles actually got a point:francis:

The hits they take in football every game might not be called concussions,but taking all those hits can be worse than the one big hit you might take the head in basketball every once in a while.

When you add the concussion in football on top of the brain damage a lot of them might already have and don't know,A football concussion might be worse than a basketball concussion:patrice:
