Now where stories start to break down you begin to see holes. A month ago it was rumored Sony had to cut estimates down from 15 million to 11.

The link above is talking about how Sony is now telling customers they'll have to wait until 2021 to get a ps5. If you gotta wait till 2021 and you only expected to move 7 million then doesn't that mean there are less systems than what they claimed? Why? I don't wanna speculate so I'll let one of you millionaires fill us in

The link in the op says 7 million this year, not next year. Inn the same article it talks about how Sony, Amazon and one other place are already telling some customers they won't get their systems until 2021.

Analyst in this same article predict 7 million sold this year, last month the rumour was Sony had to cut sales because of overheating issues. Sony quickly responded saying that wasn't the case and to expect the full amount (estimated 15 million) The rumour said they would have to cut down to 11 million. We'll have to wait and see but I'm not telling any lies, I'm one of the few who actually pays attention. If I cared about ps5 I would appreciate the investigative journalism

Do you selectively read the articles you post? That link says Sony expects to produce 11-15 million consoles by March 2021, versus selling 7 million units in the same timeframe stated in the link in the OP. Producing and selling are not the same thing

Breh... They do this shyt EVERY SINGLE TIME.. It's called marketing

All these "rumors" and "reports" and "predictions" are bullshyt. They put the system on pre order, it sells the fukk out... They say oh we don't know if you'll even get one this year... Maybe not for 6 months....

People go absolutely insane.... Sleep outside, fight in the store, over pay scalpers.... To get all the millions of systems worldwide, that just so happen to show up the release day... But somehow people who paid 6 months ago, still gotta wait till March.... But ok.....


Then you watch as Christmas comes and every single week, 5 stores in your area, get a "secret" shipment of said console... Up until Christmas Eve... Then come January... If not the day after... The system will mysteriously be over stocked everywhere and people will walk by, not even caring by March.....


And the pre order people got their shyt back in December sometime.....

Or to make it simpler, he said they will sell MORE THAN 7 MILLION, NOT SELL ONLY 7 MILLION.

And you realise the difference between "clear" (=sell) and produce right? How does saying they will sell more than 7 million contradict their plans to produce 15 million?
