While the holidays are a great time to spend with family and friends, as well it presents a great opportunity to rest and relax and enjoy some time off work or school. The holidays also brings two opportunities within a week for individuals to rise from the ashes to try and forge an “in” back into your life.

Christmas day and New years, under the disguise of "mass texting" on those two days the famed Merry Christmas and Happy New Years text messages. They have nothing to lose but everything to gain, from exes/former lovers to former friends and toxic individuals that you have severed the ties with will pop up out of the woodwork knowing exactly what they are doing; I call it malicious manipulating tactics, using the goodwill of the holidays to try and restore contact. As you sit there pondering whether to reply before you do if there is even a semblance of emotional connection still left, you will feed it and will be right back at square one, nullifying all your progress made to that day.......:ufdup:or not, however I say don't take the risk! People are not in your life for a reason, leave them in the past!!
